[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.7.4.902

2010-02-05 Thread Peter Hutterer
Another rather small release and I expect 1.7.5 to be quite similar to this
one. RECORD doesn't look like it'll make it in time for 1.7.5, so expect
some minor fixes only for the release in two weeks.

Aaron Zang (1):
Solaris: Avoid switching to inactive VT's

Alan Coopersmith (1):
Avoid segfaults in XF86VidMode GammaRamp functions if randr_crtc is NULL

Christian Zander (1):
x86emu: Respect the LEA 67h address size prefix.

Horst Wente (1):
  xkb: make ctrl+alt+keypad + / ctrl+alt+keypad - work again (#25743)

Jeremy Huddleston (1):
XQuartz: Attatch a stub display when CoreGraphics reports no displays.

Oldřich Jedlička (2):
  Fix typo in updateSlaveDeviceCoords
Allow driver to call DeleteInputDeviceRequest during UnInit

Peter Hutterer (1):
  xserver 1.7.4.902

Pierre-Loup A. Griffais (1):
Fix source pictures getting random transforms after
2d6a8f668342a5190cdf43b5.

Robert Morell (1):
  Render: Fix request size verification

Simon Thum (1):
xfree86: remove man page reference inexistent acceleration profile

[ANNOUNCE] util-macros 1.6.0

2010-02-05 Thread Gaetan Nadon

All document generation macros are now available. By default, doc
generation is skipped if the tool is missing. A builder can turn any
tool off if he suspects it will break (perhaps because it is back
level). These should not be used to skip document generation, see macros
below.

XORG_WITH_GROFFHAVE_GROFF --with-groff GROFF
   HAVE_GROFF_MS
   HAVE_GROFF_MM
XORG_WITH_FOP HAVE_FOP--with-fop FOP
XORG_WITH_PS2PDF HAVE_PS2PDF --with-ps2pdfPS2PDF
XORG_WITH_ASCIIDOC HAVE_ASCIIDOC --with-asciidoc ASCIIDOC
XORG_WITH_XMLTOHAVE_XMLTO --with-xmlto XMLTO
XORG_WITH_DOXYGEN HAVE_DOXYGEN--with-doxygen DOXYGEN

Document building enablement macros. This allows a builder to skip
document generation if such documents are not desired. They should not
be used to workaround tooling issues, use macros above. By default,
building is enabled. The default value can be changed from configure.ac
by invoking the macro like XORG_ENABLE_SPECS(no)

XORG_ENABLE_DOCSENABLE_DOCSGeneral documentation
XORG_ENABLE_DEVEL_DOCS ENABLE_DEVEL_DOCS More specifically developer's
documentation
XORG_ENABLE_SPECS ENABLE_SPECS More specifically functional
specifications

Patches will be posted soon which make use of these macros for existing
docs and specs.

Gaetan Nadon (5):
Additional doc macros for GROFF, FOP and PS2PDF
Add XORG_ENABLE_DOCS to control the building of documentation
XORG_WITH_GROFF: add tests for -ms and -mm macro packages
  doc: add XORG_ENABLE_DEVEL_DOCS and XORG_ENABLE_SPECS
  Version bump: 1.6.0

Jeremy Huddleston (1):
Add -Wformat=2 to the default CWARNFLAGS
