Here you will find the CVS snapshots of Tungsten's Radeon 8500 driver. 

It works (a bit slow though) on my machine.

Have anybody any idea about when we could expect OpenGL support for the
ATI Radeon 8500 card in Xfree? Are anybody working on it?

Hi!

Have anybody any idea about when we could expect OpenGL support for the
ATI Radeon 8500 card in Xfree? Are anybody working on it?

Secondly: if 3d support is too far avay in the future, then does anybody
know if xigraphics Summit driver is a useable alternative?

[Xpert]ATI Radeon 8500 problem

Hi!

I have a problem with my ATI Radeon 8500 card. I have downloaded the 
latest CVS version of XFree86 and the Gatos ati.2 driver and the Gatos 
drm kernelmodule - and using 2.4.17 kernel. The X logfile says, that AGP 
is missing. however the agpgart module is loaded. This results in 
working 2D graphics but DRM does'nt work :-(

PS: Motherboard is ASUS A7V-266E

- Can anyone help me with this problem.
