SSE is the SIMD instruction set of the Intel architecture
which was first introduced in the pentium 3 architecture
where the processore core was codenamed Katmai. Okay, now you know.


Dont let me go into the depth of codenaming now. ;-)

Yes, it is a nice expressive name, but my expertise is in network
