You can upgrade XFree86, Xconfigurator, freetype, hwdata, and various other dependancies from 7.3 onto your 7.1 system. You'll first need to upgrade to the RHL 7.3 kernel and all of its dependancies however (for DRI support). Note however that while this is fairly simple to do, and should work fairly well, that it is not officially supported by Red Hat. That said, I'm running this way on two systems right now. -- Mike A.
