Hello. This is a question about XFree86 client programming. If this is the wrong list for such discussions I appologise. In that case, could someone tell me where to go please?
I'd like to write a program which reads input from my USB keyboard (/dev/event0 or something like that) and sends the keys to whichever window has a certain name (titlebar). This would mean that the USB keyboard is always connected to this one window, regardless of the normal keyboard focus. Is this possible? Also, is there a way a client program can be given notice whenever a new window is opened on the display, so that it can check whether it has the right name and start the whole thing up automatically?
