I just pulled the CVS version today and compiled
it with gcc-3.1.  When starting X I get the following
errors.  I tried adding the "-fno-merge-constants" bit
to host.def and recompiled, but it did not help.

The -bpp option is no longer supported.
        Use -depth to set the color depth, and use -fbbpp if you really
        need to force a non-default framebuffer (hardware) pixel format.

This is a pre-release version of XFree86, and is not supported in any
way.  Bugs may be reported to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and patches submitted
to [EMAIL PROTECTED]  Before reporting bugs in pre-release versions,
please check the latest version in the XFree86 CVS repository
