one is the output of "Codec-Information"
and the 2nd is the output of "vlc -v"

Typ:Video
Videoresolution:1280x720
Buffersize:1280x720
Direction:Upside left
Stream 2
Codec:Opus Audio(Opus)
Language:English
Typ:Audio
Channels:Stereo
Sampling Rate:48000 Hz
Bits per Sample:32

and here vlc-v:
[7fcfe0001150] mkv demux warning: no cues/empty cues found->seek
won't be precise
[7fcfe0c13bd0] main decoder error: buffer deadlock prevented
[55f181ff15b0] pulse audio output warning: starting late (-93
us)
[55f181ff15b0] main audio output warning: playback too late
(60096): up-sampling
[7fcfe0001150] mkv demux warning: EOF
[7fcfe0001150] mkv demux warning: cannot get block EOF?

are these messages something, which tells you anything ?

bye hans

Maybe, there are some settings needed for getting running matroskas in
vlc ?

For shure, I could send the actual settings, but it seems, I have all
the standard-settings as ist is after installing vlc.
Are there some special-settings needed for that matroska ?

Matroska is a container, the video could be in almost any format. That
is probably the problem - the video may be in a format that you don't
have codecs for.

1) from a terminal, run mediainfo and look for the video codec used for
the video. You can also find this from vlc "Tools => Codecs".

2) you can also try running mpv from the command line and see what it
says - is it able to play the video? does it complain (in the terminal)
about not being able to play the video stream, or missing streams, or
something else?

Basically, we need to find out what sort of video is in the matroska
container, so we can figure out next steps.

Are there some special-settings needed for that matroska ?
