Status: Open => Answered

Jérôme Duriez proposed the following answer:
Hi,

A Wall [*] shaped-body is an infinite plane (or infinite half-domain
depending on Wall.sense), so no, it can not correspond to a cylindrical
wall.

 If this is really what you want, you have to go through Facet shapes
indeed, but you should note there is no Ig2_Facet_LevelSet_* functor
available at the moment (and interaction with LevelSet-shaped bodies
will not be possible)

[Yade-users] [Question #707882]: Cylindrical triaxial test using walls

2023-09-10 Thread Ruidong LI
New question #707882 on Yade:
https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/707882

Hi! I am going to model the interaction between the level-set body and walls.
What I want to create is a cylindrical wall. But it seems that wall can not be
used to create a cylindrical wall? I am not sure. Can someone help me with this?

Cheer,
Kyle
