Neutron logging works fine using the same rsyslog service. Bill, the logging capabilities are managed by the oslo.log library that Nova is pulling. Sylvain, not sure what you mean there. None of the logs (nova-api, scheduler, conductor, etc) are being sent to syslog. I'm far more concerned about those than oslo.log.
