Anyone that doesn't have this one? It's a
soundboard and a lossless version of what I gather has also been distributed in
a lossy version. I didn't find where we ever vined this one before although I
see Bart has it listed in his collection. It seems very familiar to me somehow.
I should have it by later today.

While I can imagine the students giving this one
all they had, I can't
imagine the Dean or administration letting them do
it.  I can only
commend the University of Michigan
and any involved in this project
back in 1999. What we have here is a decent band
and a bunch of young
people that really did justice to Joe's story and
our favorite
composer. (imho) I'm not usually much for
choreographed shows but this
is an exception. They didn't clean it up any that
I noticed ether. Ike
helps out on Lucile and maybe a couple of other
places.  All in all I
think FZ would be pleased, but I'm curious to know
what some of the
rest of you might think about this.

The whereabouts of the
master tapes for the festival, if any exist, are unknown. What recordings are
circulating are either the soundtrack of the film, or taken from radio
broadcasts (on Luxemburg's RTL and Belgium's RTBF). The source used
here is an audience recording made by a young French member of the audience
using a now antiquated amateur tape recorder. The original tapes have been
newly transferred, but even so, the sound quality is rather poor. Still, it
seems to be the only source available at this time, so that will have to do for
now.

Most legendary, of
course, is Frank Zappa's jam with Pink Floyd on a very extended
"Interstellar Overdrive". Apparently, despite the wealth of Pink
Floyd bootlegs in circulation, no one seems to have their Amougies set, so this
will probably delight a lot of people. Browing various PF-related websites,
