Since both replies were in favor of keeping the discs together, I'll just
mail them out that way too.
So 3 discs on their way to Rick !

That's what I had in mind when I packaged it that way. I commend all that
had this vine pass through their hands and kept them together so far. It's been
quite a while now. A quick reminder that the PAL disc was the original source
and so preferable if your equipment can play it.

As I am not part of this vine, I hesitate to 'feedback'; however:

It appears that as a group we don't all follow the instructions for vining
to the letter, which makes tracking the progress of a vine problematic (and I'm
not pointing any fingers, just stating fact). I suggest leaving the vine as is,
to allow recipients to select whatever format they want/need when the disks
arrive, and to keep it simple. Splitting into 3 vines allows more opportunity
for error and loss...

Not that it's any of my bees wax, but this set consists of 3 discs,
whereas basically you only need one ! There's a PAL disc, an NTSC
disc

make individual vines so that people can subscribe to the disc they

  Feedback on this appreciated.

Frank Zappa - The Lather Box

4 cd bootleg box set ripped directly from original promo Lather lp's.
Discs are indexed by sides, as in disc 1 has two tracks, side a and
  side b.

I left the indexing like this because this is how Frank intended the
record to be heard, hence all the interludes inbetween the tracks.

The back of the box states that I'm taken from the original tapes,
which have been digitally remastered, denoised, declicked, decrackled,
but NOT de Frankt: You won't find any overdubs or beer on the tape:ah
  ceedee.

In my opinion, this version sounds best, but it is true that this is
now presented in the original 4 lp running order, on 4 cds, and this
SHOULD be listened to - as lp sides and not indexed tracks.

  Spit it out LTEEERR!

Please don't reindex this with the marks of the official version, this
is the lp version, and besides, you better already own the official
version if you are reading this! This is only for collectors and for
share, and is meant to be the 3rd part of lather, along with the
official release and the radio show when FZ played this material to us
  fans for free.

Ripped with EAC directly from the original silver cds, no altering at
all, then compressed with flac level 8, gaps do not matter as the lp
  sides are individual tracks.

  Enjoy.

It's 9AM here in Michigan. I'm drinking a nice cup of Starbucks French Roast
(with a drizzle of Hazelnut creamer), trying to ignore the after effects of my
trip to Belgium last night...
We had our 'personal' gift exchange last night - later today is with the
extended family - and I did imbibe in some of my gifts: a tall Chimay, a small
Duvel, Maredsous, Corsendonk. As it appears I may never actually visit
Belgium, enjoying their Brew is a vicarious thrill.
Today, a tasty US Microbrew: Arcadia Scotch Ale.
But for now, the coffee is making my tongue feel less troop-trodden...
  Merry Christmas, all!

Me and the wife are just starting to cook our Xmas meal and I'm just
nipping
now and again to the pc to avoid peeling sprouts etc and was wondering what
are folk imbibing this Xmas ?

It's 11.35am here in the UK and I've just started on a pint of Bath Ales
Festivity which is a cracking rum porter weighing in at 5%...I have a 9
pint micro cask but won't be drinking all that today.

I know there are quite a few good micro breweries in the US,wasn't there a
Freak Out beer recently ?

See,I managed a post about Xmas food and still got a Zappa reference in
there ;-))
