(e.g. Chunga's Revenge), no?
BTW listened to the Ensemble music last night, it's more classical than
jazz, pretty smooth. I saw an avant-garde ensemble (the one involved in the
Yellow Shark) (Ensemble Modern I think it's called) at the Albert Halla few
years back doing Zappa in a very dofferent way. Ponty has done something
similar on Ponty plays Zappa.
But I like the originals best and I love the instrumental noodling/ solos
the best, followed by the orchestral experimentation up to the end of 1972.
After that things get too planned and less spontaneous for me, though the
technical expertise gets more refined, no doubt about that.
Did you receive my Zappa lists? Lots of late stuff you might like there
too,

I will also release to the group Stockholm in Bondage the full show,
I have this on silver pressed dvd on the Zapperman label.
It's a lovely digipack release.
Mine is called Swedish Sensation.
Picture quality is not perfect but much better than the previously
circulating vcd I have of it which is almost unwatchable.
Audio is however great..really cool watching George do the biz on
synth etc.
Recommended.
