Re: [zeta-dev] Graph module for timelines or intervals in general?

I have not heard of that. No, I don't know anyone who might have done that or thought about a proper API for that. Given the nature of the existing data, it would involve coming up with new: - Datasets (representation of this (partially) tree-structured data) - Renderer - Chart (basically just an element container) This would be some work, but you should be able to re-use large parts of the existing charting framework. If not, I would give it a try and use one of the other chart types as a template. Any suggestions which one might be most suitable? I guess starting with the line chart would be the best way to go. Its basically a complete rebrand and when ZC offers some kind of helper script for users to at least announce the files which use the wrong prefix, everything should be pretty ok. I also think it's the last chance to do such a change. When the next release is out people will claim about backwards compatiblity. OK would like to hear you opinions on the prefix change. I would like to change it too. We're Apache Zeta Components now. Besides the rebrand, because this is a BC breaking change, we should also go through the code and clean up the @apichange bits. I still strongly oppose any BC breaks. ezc is used a lot in different applications (I alone maintain 4 or 5) - and it would be a hell lot of work to verify that those still work properly. BC is one of the key points for ezc / zeta - and breaking with this is something I would really really dislike to see. A prefix does not mean anything anyways, it is just a prefix… Kind regards, Kore -- Kore Nordmann(GPG 0xDDC70BBB) - What I do: http://kore-nordmann.de/portfolio.html - Motivate me: http://wishlist.kore-nordmann.de/ - Hire me: http://qafoo.com/ signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part

Yes, for now. There are no links and source code highlighting in the tutorial. It is comlicated to setup natively with python-docutils and the post-processing of the generated HTML files is just not implemented yet. I will add that at some point. - Do you think you can add some syntax coloring to the PHP code so it is easier to read ? The source highlighting in the API docs is just a matter of some CSS rules - should be easy to add. :) For the tutorials: See above. Other than that, the website looks good, I especially love the new logo, who created it ? That would be me. Thanks. :-) Kind regards, Kore -- Kore Nordmann(GPG 0xDDC70BBB) - What I do: http://kore-nordmann.de/portfolio.html - Motivate me: http://wishlist.kore-nordmann.de/ signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
