If it's just for recovery purposes, try 'zpool import -f -R /mnt '.
Because there isn't a 1:1 correspondence between filesystems and pools,
it isn't possible to just mount a filesystem without importing the pool.
And every ZFS filesystem must be part of a pool, so I'm not sure what
you mean by "I have none and don't want one."
