Hello! I have a new position at *WELLS FARGO BANK* in San Francisco, CA **Candidates *MUST* be Local to SF Bay Area** *(or if they have past Wells Fargo Experience and will relocate at their OWN expense, let me know)* Pay rate $42 on c2c *Job Requirements:* *Candidate must have STRONG application build/release, and/or change management background* *Must have ANT and Maven experience (the project is a migration from ATN to Maven)* *This role will be working on automating incremental database builds.* The engineer will work with the development teams to support builds, deployments and integration requirements for applications developed in the PES (Payment Engineering Solutions) group, validate builds/environment in the SIT (System Integration Testing) environment, and facilitate build and system deployments to other environments. Immediate assignments: - Convert ant build scripts to maven 2.0 scripts. - Design implement automated database build and deployment. Should have automated backfill capability, that is: connect to DB, identify the release on DB backfill the DB to the current level. Also should have flexibility to do incremental and baseline DB builds/deployments. Minimum Requirements - 6+ years technical experience with at least 3+ years of build engineering experience. - 3+ years experience in building, deploying and integrating Java-based applications in a UNIX Environment is required, including exposure to J2EE architecture (especially BEA Web Logic), working as the Build Lead with Ant/Maven experience in a large application development setting - Expertise in ant maven scripting - Experience in migrating ant scripts to maven 2.0 - Excellent working knowledge in Unix/Solaris - Demonstrated knowledge of SDLC and change control processes - Software configuration management experience is required. These tools will be instrumental in enabling automated deployment of selected builds across multiple servers while maximizing availability and minimizing build times. • Design and develop the tools to allow efficient configuration management, build and release of software developed in C#, XML, Visual Basic, .NET Visual Basic, ASP, SQL Server databases, as well as, web based infrastructure components. • Proficient in developing with VB, C, C#, ASP, XML, ANT, Perl and MAKE scripting utilities. • Work with all areas of Development to ensure the build process is serving the needs of the business. • Performs program and system analysis.
