I've just managed to turn non-global zone into a router ;). All you need to do 
is:
1. get internet connection inside of zone
2. run command inside zone: # pkg install SUNWroute
Then you can configure router inside zone with routeadm.
Of course you need all those vnics and etherstubs properly configured, but I 
guess you know that ;)

no details, no clue :(

in general, attempts to manipulate networking will fail if network 
automagic (NWAM) is enabled. i can only speculate whether this applies 
to you.


# svcs *physical*
STATE  STIMEFMRI
disabled   Jun_01   svc:/network/physical:nwam
online Jun_01   svc:/network/physical:default

are my settings on a system where I want to control things such as routing.

need to use exactly this version. Very strange.
