Call exist and it returns true 4.) Zookeeper sends a NodeCreated event. I would expect that the client would get the NodeCreated event before exist returns true. Hi Todd, Most of the patches that you mention should be in the branch 3.2 by tomm or so. 481, 479 are already in. 480 and 491 should be in by tomm. Would that suffice for you? Re: c client error message with chroot
Please do enter a JIRA. Looking at the source it seems that we log and error, but the calling code continues. I think this is happening because the chroot c lib code is not handling znode watches separate from state change notifications. The calling code just continues after logging an (invalid I think) error - can you try it out and see if it works, even though the error message is being displayed (with chroot I mean). Thanks.
