error.

It would seem strange to me for them to REMOVE such a useful saftey net.  Can 
anyone else comment on this?

I got such a beast recently in Zope 2.1.6.

After some minutes intensive work, Zope reported something
like "do deeply nested DTML calls".

Thus, already Zope 2.1.6 does something about such loops.

It's happening to me right now, but I don't want to reinstall everything. I don't use 
bannerexchange, but every time I connect to
/manage folder using IE5.01 browsers it happens. It's weird, but it doesn't happen 
when I access direcly from the Linux console
using a Netscape browser.

Hi there,

For some reason Zope would suddenly hang and it's thread would consume 99.9% of CPU 
usage.  The first time this happened the problem
magically disappeared after a complete reinstall. Here's what happened while casually 
throwing bannerexchange code into the default
DTML document.
