Hello,

We're going to make some database improvements to Launchpad and so
we need to take the service offline between 05:30 and 08:30 UTC on
Wednesday 28 February.

The main impact of the changes on people from the Zope project will be a
reduction in time-outs.

We're sorry that Launchpad will be offline for a few hours but we're
sure you'll be pleased with the performance improvements.

This is just a quick email to introduce myself. I'm one of the Launchpad
team and part of my job is to act as a contact point.

If you have any questions or need help with anything, both during the
move to Launchpad and afterwards, you can always email me or find me in

online from 8am to around 6pm UTC.

I'm also setting up a small Launchpad users panel. It'd be great to have
