UR has a militia theme and a lot of the old UR records have a darker skizzo/
acid type sound
so it's was only natural you have records that are based on Nazi warfare
like Seawolf, Belgium Resistance, and Code breaker.

Psychotasia is a superb label; its been too long since they've had a new
release! 003 is my fav, 'The Unknown Artists' EP'... Five tracks of techno
goodness. Did you find any white labels while you were at it, Lee? I think
mm had whites on 1, 2, and 3 still.

Interesting! I knew he had left V2 but in Feb he said he was just going for
distribution deals and not doing a label as such. I guess it will just be an
outlet for his own product maybe. He's been recording material for his new
album with musicians in Sydney.

John Beltran returns with his Indio alias on Transmat after his excellent
Brazil flavoured album on Ubiquity Records with tracks that remind on his

Yes, is that the ep with Dem Young Sconies on the flip. That is a favourite
of mine too. Lots differnt to Kenny's usual stuff as well.
Nicely strip to the raw essentials. It reminds me of a Octave One tune but I
cannot remember the name.

i'm going to be spending alot of april in nyc. I've got a list going on for
some of the more known record stores and clubs - are there any cool djs
coming to town or any lesser know spots for 2nd hand record shopping for
someone that's into deephouse, oldschool house, italo, early detroit etc.
I was told that Aukufen is coming to montreal in
april-the 8th I THINK. towards the beginning with a
Mutek sponsored event. dont know specifics though.
sorry...for the lack of help.

Anyone heard the new Warmdesk (Guero Variations) or Norken (Blue Room:
Remodeled) releases? Very nice, warm, melodic groovers with
IDM-meets-smooth Detroit sensibilities. Both keepers imo.

No, you haven't missed something. You're right, I was lucky enough to get my
hands on a promo copy of this great record.
I think it should be released really soon, 2-3 weeks I guess
Hope that helps.
Cheers, Arne

which displayed some essays and other political commentary.
I am almost positive it was discussed on the list at the time so you can
