I'm going to be in Berlin from August 20 to 30. So it's the usual request
for any nights I should make it to, and good record stores I should visit
(Hardwax obviously, but I don't know any others). Replies will be much
appreciated.
Cheers
Chris
I have been thinking about 'techno' films - ie films that the techno
community have adopted as part of their subculture - as lately I've been
catching up on DVDs when I am too tired to do anything else constructive. ;)
I guess hip-hop types have Star Wars but techno people I find are into
Tetsuo has to be one of the ultimate techno movies for me, if such a thing
exists. Also most movies by David Cronenberg. I guess its just the
reacurring theme of the man's fusion with the synthetic. I also think of
things like Altered States, but I think thats probably more as drug thing

Does anyone have any practical travel tips?

Man, Tetsuo is cool. I love the imagery and the soundtrack. Im a huge fan of
Aisian Cinema, just watched Visitor Q by Tesheki Mikke(sp?) , now that's
some screwed up sh!t!! I think also something like Eraserhead is pretty
techno in the way it

Was this a joke? I've just woken up...
