I forget who did the original, I have it somewhere, but I remember "some
guy" who bootlegged it back in Detroit about ten years ago. I can ask "him"
if there are any copies still around in "his" storage unit.

Thanks for passing those mixes on Carlos. Loving it so far.
That Omar S edit-track with the off kilter claps (Set it out at around
22ish in the mix), gets me everytime. I love that. Sounds like a really
bad edit that shouldn't work but does.

It's great! Really heavy and more in the vein of 'Just Another Day' than Carl's

One last note regarding Strand - the detroit one that is... the label
that released the last Strand record 'Pigeon Toed Orange Peel' back in
2002, Tactile Recordings, appears to have changed the label name to
Harbonder and features a looping unreleased Strand track on it's
developing website.
may i also suggest the releases on Tuning Spork's sister label Futuredub.
Very deep, very dubby, a little tech-y
Unfortunately also hard to find.

Hello 313ers,
It's been a while since I last wrote, but I am really digging this list.
Anyway, I am a grad student at Indiana University and I am doing some research
this fall on people's experiences at raves and other electronic dance music
events/venues. Your stories can be Detroit related,
I saw Steve (DJ Horsepower) at the festival. He got dumped
in the dot-bomb crash and is now working (I think) as a
hotel desk manager but says it's OK 'cause he has more
time to make tracks on the side than when he was in
