I'm pretty happy with my Vestax PCV-275 Mixer which I have had for 1
1/2 years now, hardly have to touch the cross fader which is nice.

I have a Urei 1603; I absolutely love it. 4 channels, smooth
crossfader + level faders, aux send/ return, 3 band full-cut warm,
colorful EQ.
I was trying to hold out for a Rane rotary MP2016 + expander, but
they are just too expensive for the home DJ. I put that money towards
studio gear

I'm a little late with this debate, but I have a Xone 32 and its great, I
have it for 4 years now, and it still works perfectly, the gains on the back
of it really don’t cause any problems, they're easy to use once you know
where they are. I don’t think it suitable for quick chopping between tracks
Hah,
I just buy cheap used mixers or spend around $120 for
a cheapie 2 channel.
Inexpensive is realitive I guess, because $500 is a
lot of money for me. That is why I use Stanton
turntables as well...at least they aren't belt drive.
