I haven't read the whole thread, but there are samples
up on Neuton...sounds pretty good to me.
I really didn't like Kenny's stuff on Peacefrog all
that much, so having something I can get behind again
is great.
Also nice to see that Planet E is ramping up full
releases again. The whole PE
And the CD version has some extra tracks... One of them is a new track
from the guys from East Island.

It isn't that mysterious, Frank. It doesn't matter what tracks you use
to check the system so long as
1) They are representative of the sort of music that will be played on
that system.
2) The person tuning the sound system is familiar enough with the
tracks to know what they're supposed to sound
Interestingly, I can tell the difference when I hear it between a
great sound system and an awful sound system, but I haven't the
foggiest idea of how to get it that way. Would you recommend any
particular readings on that sort of thing?
I thought the OP was asking with regard to recording,
Wow, was it really that bad of a space? Or was it just the sound
crew not having enough sound?
