Before the Motor City became home to Movement, there was Dan Sicko, the
pioneering journalis
I've had a look at a lot of the pics, and Dan had a good eye and nice
sense of composition... I used to be quite active in B&W photography
before techno/radio snarfed up a lot of my time.
He will be missed. I plan to do (KFJC programming willing) a 4-hour
block of Detroit in his honor.

My condolences to his family.
I read Dan's book about 5 years after getting involved with techno. I knew
Detroit techno had a rich history but didn't truly appreciate it until
reading Techno Rebels. The man may be gone but his legacy continues. RIP
