I know I already mentioned this, but if you're considering catching the YMO
bug, or are just a bit curious, the best possible introduction to the band is
to get one of their concert DVDs. The versions they do of their tracks live
(especially in the Hurrah concert) have sooo much more energy

plus there's are tracks by the Detroit Escalator company
and by ismistik that essentially revamp e2-e4 in their own flavor
without being straight covers or remixes.

I just thought I'd send this off to the list, in case people weren't aware of
this: If you live in Detroit you technically have no 4th amendment rights under
federal law, as the city resides within 25 miles of the US/Canada border. In
the past week checkpoints with random searches were set up
With all the talk of Morgan Geist's musical tastes, I'd figure I'd drop line
that you can go back and read his words on the matter, posted to our own 313
list. He was a pretty active participant back in the day. Check out the the
oldest archive to see his opinion on War of the Worlds.
Is this a particularly rare record?
I just picked up a copy of this over the WE, 8$CA.
I suspect maybe a bootleg press is making the rounds.
