I'm a freak. I disagree with everyone so far. :) My recommendation would
be
to get different headphones for home listening and DJing.
just like me. for home use (producing, listening) i've got Beyerdynamic
DT 331's and for DJ and other occasional use i've got Sony MDR-V500's
i have Sennheiser
:(
so so sad :(
1st drexciya tune that comes on my mind is antivapour waves,
maybe becaouse of the attitude, it has so much power and
one word shouts in my head all the time : INNOVATE !

my answer would be :
those people who label music makers

This is a new 2 x 12 inch on Warp by a 'mysterious Detroit based Artist'
out
3rd September.
Great addendums as well, Rob! I have to add that I recently tracked down a
new, unplayed 2xcd of the Being you mentioned below - WOW. Amazingly nice.
Claude Young co-wrote/appears on the 1st track of CD1. A LOT of the
Emissions label (old post-Sabres/Two Lone Swordsmen turf camp) has some
very
some nice recommendations so far, especially Brendan's and Jeff's...
i'll add some stuff from 93-96, because i feel happy when i write
down those albums :-)
synectics: purple universe (rephlex) 93
yoni: my little yoni (source) 94
velo cette: sonorities by starligh (reflective) 96
john beltran:
so there will not be a hancock collaboration album with craig
and laswell as i thought...
it still sounds cool...but i kinda hoped to see planet e release
with an album, not compilation on axiom... disappointed a bit...
