Hey 313 list!
I dunno if anyone here (except Eamonn :)) went to the previous two issues of
Dublin Electronic Arts Festival, but it's highly recommended for anyone in
Europe to attend this event as it's really worth it. I went both times and
was amazed. I checked Ryanair, and people from all over Europe can afford
swing their Detroit loving booties to Brussels and catch a flight for as
little as one cent if they book today (flying out on Oct 20 and returning
Oct 26). Maybe we could even organise sharing a car to get to Charleroi. And
we should definitely get together for a drink if anyone of you guys heads
there.
This year's edition will see Juan Atkins, Blake Baxter, Robert Hood, DJ
Bone, Riley Reinhold, Ron's Mobile Disco, The Horrorist, The Producer, Manu
le Malin, Simon Conwy, Invisible Agent, David Donahoe, Visitor aka Mark
Broom & Dave Hill, Fatima Yamaha aka Comtron/Seymore Bits, Ivar Tonso,
Donnacha Costello, Rob Rowland, Five Green Circle, Americhord, ACU, Ikeaboy,
Chymera, Paradox, Naphta and many many more. Robert Moog's film will be
shown, and there will be panels and open lap top conventions etc. Plus
Dublin is a great place to go and I am looking well forward to harrrveh a
