(21st September ) With a wonderful melange of Quality music , Films +
visuals .
3 more days to go before we celebrate our birthday ! Still time to email

celebrating 7 years of throwing parties in East London . Long before it
became fashionable to be occupying warehouses , and dancing in abandon to
some german artist ; Süd Electronic was out there utilising all manner of
buildings , from wood factories , to fire stations , recording studios
e.t.c. as a neccesity rather than a fashion statement . How times have
changed ! :). Still sticking to our path ------------ it's all about the
music you know :) We are very proud to have worked with so many great
artists . :
Lawrence/Sten , Efdemin , Dan Bell , Juan Atkins , Farben , Pantha Du Prince
Sutekh , Andy Vaz , Bruno Pronsato , Mike Shannon , Shed , Move D ,
Carsten Jost , the list goes on ....
This coming friday will be no different ..... We will endevour to provide
some great music , great visuals , films and a great atmosphere .
Room 1
Soulphiction (aka Jackmate ) feat Suzana Rozkosny - Live + Dj ( Perlon ,
Playhouse , Sonar Kollektiv , ++ )
We are very proud to be bringing to London 2 of the most excellent artists
Europe has to offer .All the way from Suttgart , Michel Baumann (aka
Jackmate , Soulphiction , Manmade Science ) will be donning his Soulphiction
hat , to provide some superb chicago/detroit inspired house grooves all live
Suzana Rozkosny will be adding her beautiful vocals as evidenced on some
of the Soulphiction records on labels such as Perlon , Playhouse , Sonar
Kollektiv , Freude Am tanzen e.t.c.
John Thomas - Dj ( Logistic , Sinio , Ethique ++ )
All the way from Paris , the powerhouse , that is John Thomas , will be
touching down to play a debut dj set for the UK . A highly skilled dj , who
counts some legends amongst his fans. Jeff Mills , Rob Hood , Laurent
Garnier , Ricardo Villalobos , Dan Bell , Luciano , Technasia e.t.c. have
namechecked John Thomas , as one of the finest Techno dj's around . He will
be on 3 decks + 2 cdjs on this occassion . i for one can't wait !
Our residents , Nick Craddock & Lakuti will also be digging deep for your
pleasure .
All this wonderful music will be complimented by the wonderful visuals from
the Triggerset Collective . 'Triggerset' is a collective of freelance
digital media artists working both regionally and nationally creating
original moving image content in the forms of VJ performances, music videos,
animations, video productions & installations . They have worked with some
of the bigger festivals in the UK , such as Bloom , Creamfields e.t.c.
Room 2 : A Midnite Run-through : A cinema room focusing on works from
established independent filmmakers as well as new film makers .
Room 2 will be transformed into an intimate cinema , showcasing some films
from a diverse pool of independent filmakers . This room is programmed by
Barbara Gamper & Lerato Khathi .

Jasmin Jodry ( DE )
Emmy awarded film maker Jasmine Jodry has been garnering a lot of
interested for her highly polished and thoroughly modern approach to film
making . Her cv includes working with Zero 7 , Robert Altman Hollywood
studios such as Miramax , Warner Brothers e.t.c. We will be screening 3

Sabina Maria van der Linden (NL)
Sabina lives and works in Berlin . She works across different
Media/artdisciplines , such as Video , film , animation , painting ,
perfomance and sculputural instalation . Since 1982 Sabina has taken part in
solo projects
as well as group projects in Berlin , New York , Amsterdam ++.
'Perfectly You ' Sabine's offering on this occassion ; is a piece exploring
issues around advertising , Gender , Voguing e.t.c. ((berlin/marseille
2003-06)

Marcus Woodcock (UK)
Marcus lives and works in London . After 8 years working in advertising
Marcus Woodcock , Marcus has decided to further explore his art .His work
celebrates the
absolute insignificance that underlines every action, thought, feeling or
deed. He recently partook in the Birmingham International Festival of Live
and Time based Art .& has appeared as a guest artist on the Tiger Aspect TV
production "The Exhibitionist"..
"K" is a video TV self-portrait that deals with our struggle with
assumptions when reading enigmatic facial expressions. It's a modern Mona

Barbara Gamper (I)
Barbara lives and works in London . After a BA in contemporary dance and
performance in Berlin ; Barbara began to work with video/film and
photography.Her aim is to find a certainrelation between the body and the
still and moving image. She recently worked in a live/virtual dance
production in Berlin and has worked within several dance and art projects
between Berlin and
Italy. Barbara's piece , 'The s(h)ingle , deals with "non-action", time,

Kareem Ghoniem (Egypt/Australia )
Kareem lives and works in London . Kareem studied for a BA , in Film &
Animation @ London's LCC . the first of his offerings , 'Meta' - deals with
conversations with the ego , whilst his 2nd offering , 'Mummification'
touches on ' pharonic pleasures of palying with plastic .'

Julian Frank (UK )
Founded in 1998 by Jfrank and TopforTom, Brainstorm started as a name under
which to produce collaborative audio/video projects. With the launch of the
website, Brainstorm slowly became a veritable network for indie audio/video
makers. The DVD features videos made by the founders, for the release of
their albums 'Jfrank_Greenbottle_2004' and 'TopforTom_Saund Scraund_2005'
as well as the first episode of 'Life on The Rerun'. More info on :
