Beatport classifies all versions of a song as an "original mix",
unless there's a remix of that particular song. Since it's a cover;
it's considered the Original mix.

no need to pay attention. It is actually
garbage-style.
Derrick May still has the best remix of this track.

put your hands in the air in the air in the air ;-)
I'd rather have people come to UR (and their sound) instead of UR having to
go to the people who really don't give a sh*t about Detroit music (and
reprogramming the tune so it's acceptable to prog house fans)

Well after one listen I know it's not for me, but that's okay, I hope
it sells a boatload thus adding more money to UR coffers so they can
use that cash for new projects/represses for those that slept, etc.
Big picture ppl!
I accept that view. So is the original going on the b-side then? ;)

Ben Watt doing it would've been cool. But he wouldn't. He is at
least someone who seems to express a greater affinity to those kind
of sensibilities.

I am surprised, I don't think Leger has a huge association with
Detroit - he's highly critical of the French 'noise' sound & electro-
house but I am unsure if he's entirely extricated himself from it!
