"TECHNO BRINGS PEOPLE TOGETHER!"

On Thursday, May 22, 2003, the Detroit electronic music community will
present a free, event titled "Techno Brings People Together" at the Detroit
Historical Museum starting at 11am. The event is among the first leading up
to Saturday's start of Movement: Detroit's Electronic Music Festival. Visit

Event participants include industry giants, local legends and entrepreneurs
who will address many aspects of the business of electronic music -
including equipment innovation, marketing, distribution, and global
influence. Kevin Saunderson will conduct the opening ceremonies and a
presentation featuring analog mixing vs. Final Scratch. Other event
highlights:

"Techno Brings People Together" is produced by SCAN 7 and the newly-launched
Cratesavers Records. Both companies rallied members of the community and
long-time supporters to share experiences and offer advice. The mission is
simply "to educate." Everyone is invited!

Visitors may also take a rare look into the mysterious origins of SCAN 7,
see the original Trackmasta Lou, and ONE OF SEVEN'S masks and flight suits
and hats (first time on display), and check out "SE7EN VISION" and STR-8
TECHNO™ gear.
