>Help me Alex Bond Kenobi, you're my only hope.

HAHAHAHAH ohhhhhh shhhhhhiiiiiiip!!!

>(For non-openings, I suppose it's not a "noise" but the keyboard
motif that kicks in at 2:30 of Rhythim Is Rhythim's "The Beginning"
still puts the hairs on my neck on end, every time. A "beautiful
keyboard motifs in 313 tracks" thread anyone?)

ohh that's one up there for me too. there are too many great sounds in techno
tho to begin to count...thats why i like techno...dbx-phreak, drexciya intro's
or positron island, the bass sound from reese' bassline, shakes sounds in the
frictional beat tracks, the perfect bass in my a.u.x mind....the feedbacky
noise in i-f portrait of a dead girl or the bass sound in superman...uhh...the
beginning of oombah...the sounds in titonton's "fetish"...a dozen juan
sounds..aggh nevermind!

and mathew jonson is NOT hipster techno! what a backwards way of looking at
music. it's techno some hipsters like, who cares. you are commenting more on
the people who might like the music than on the actual music, which is a
hipster attitude in the first place. i will say that when i heard cobblestone
jazz, i thought it was very good, but not unlike a lot of other things i like.
but it is always good to have such promising new,a nd prolific, talent in
techno...
