I'd be interested in peoples suggestions of what they consider classic
detroit gear? there's the obvious DX synths and Roland synths/Drum machines
that spring to mind... any other ideas people?? just curious

Novation SuperNova 2 also does a pretty damn good Prophet emulation
(pretty good on the Pro 1 too - though the FutureRetro 777 does a better

there is a cool book i saw once (from about 1990) with interviews with a
very young kevin saunderson and derrick may.. it had a lot of info in there
about the gear they used
