As I mentioned before, Stewart Walker will be playing in Chicago this saturday night, and in Iowa City on sunday night.
His tech rider calls for a Pioneer DJM-800, and there just isn't anyone in eastern Iowa that I have found that owns such a thing. I've checked Chicago AV rental places, and it would cost a LOT to hire one -- not so bad for one night, but we won't be back in Chicago until the 24th, and can't afford 4 nights rental fee. So I'm coming in tomorrow to go to the Chicago show, and I'm wondering -- does anyone have a DJM 800 (or 600 or 700...) they'd be willing to loan? Only Stewart would be touching the mixer at the show, and I'll personally guarantee it against damage. I'd pick it up tomorrow and can either ship it back monday, or bring it back myself on thursday. I'm willing to pay a rental fee, but I'm definitely NOT making money on this show myself, so I'd rather pay less and not more...
