This is why Juan Atkins came up with a similar sound with out even hearing of Kraftwerk.

Nope it's not. I remember Atkins quoting where he first heard Kraftwerk (I think it was the Electrifying Mojo show), but it's obvious anyway from the Model 500 releases that he was influenced. Glenn
