okay gang. heres a stupid track ID question:
who knows the title and artist for the track thats used in EVERY
movie these
days for when the "badass" individual or gang or team or hot chicks are
introduced? it's always accompanied by a slow motion shot that works
its way
up from their legs as they slow motion walk into the scene. most
recently I
saw it in the movie "Dodgeball" when the girlscout troop entered the
gym. I
think I also heard it in "Mean Girls" and I'm certain it's in every
movie
made in the past 3 years. I just heard it again used in a new
commercial for
Jaguar.
you know what track I'm talking about? it's literally everywhere!

Many songs used during a movie are not on the soundtrack CD
these days (and vice versa :)). It's even worse for trailers; not only
are many scenes in trailers not used in the movie itself, the music
used in trailers seems to be rarely used in the movie itself. If you
watch 100 trailers, for example, the same damn piece of music
might be used in half of them. Certain songs just seem to lend
themselves to trailer use, I guess (or lazy sound editors).
