well put. plus, imo the label is also part of the record. the artwork on it, the way the information is arranged on it; without these things the record would lose some of its magic. ever noticed how sexy a record with label looks like when spinning on a deck? i'm sure most of you have :-) peter -

taking off the labels of records to make sure no one can identify what you're playing (if that is why you want to do it), is (IMHO) showing a complete disrespect towards the artist that made that record. imagine you've produced some awesome track, and some dj plays it. then you see someone walk
