Well Juan Atkins was supposed to play here in DC last night but apparently
never got on the plane in Detroit. It was a strange lineup--Juan, Jimmy Van
M, and Lee Burridge but we were *willing* to subject ourselves to some of
that progressive stuff so that we could hear Juan. We don't get to hear much
Detroit techno down here, let alone any of the "legends." Last time he
played here was um...racked with "technical difficulties." A lot of people
were going to come out and sort of give him a second chance...
I feel sorry for the peeps that paid $25 for the presale tix....
