A brief report: Carl Craig last night was fun. The Planet E crew did a good job of decorating Motor with potted plants, a small waterfall, and other similar touches. When we got there just after 10:00PM, Carl was playing some pretty chill stuff - I caught the "2000 Black" remake with Roy Ayers, among others. As the night progressed, he built & built - that's one thing he can do as well as any other DJ in my book: take the crowd on a journey.
I ended up having to leave a little after 1:00, when he was really in the home stretch, after having played for 3 hours already. I caught "Energy Flash" by Joey Beltram, a "Good Life" remix, and I think "The Chase" by Giorgio Moroder. Good stuff - a fun night at the club. BVL -- http://www.chromedecay.org
