I dont think it is as strong. When I first heard Model 500 (Sonic Sunset), I immediately thought of early Cabaret Voltaire (Red Mecca, 2x45, Voice of America, 3 Mantras, etc). 'Deep Space' and Infiniti too, though to different degrees. I'd never compare Atkins to the Orb any more than I'd compare Cabaret Voltaire to Pink Floyd.
