hello,
I know this has already been mentioned on the list,
but can somebody tell me, or point me to a website
which states where the tracks from the Lifelike cd
come from.I thought that it was a compilation of songs
already released on some of the Axis 12.
thanks
steve
of the Jeff
Mills Lifelike CD, listen to the show at 8pm for details on how you can win.
We've also gone through a re-release of some slightly older content in
MP3,
this time it's streaming so you don't have to sit for a long time
downloading music, just click and listen. Some new skills
to a psychologist. As a
concept it's very interesting.
I didn't think Lifelike was the best Mills I've ever
heard. At the rest of sounding like a horrendous
traditionalist that old UR/X-10_ material still gets
me every time while most of his new material seems
too scattered with not enough punch
Is lifelike any good

Lifelike was released on both. Although I live in the city of Ghent,
homebase of Music Man , I bought the release
Yes, yes. You finally get the full version of Detached - worth it alone.
It's more reflective, abstract material. Very beautiful to my ears, anyway.
And then there's the sleeve notes - Mills talking to a psychologist. As a
concept it's very interesting.

On the Axis website it says that Lifelike is AX-21. I always thought that
this one came out on Music Man in stead. Can anyone confirm that Lifelike is
also an Axis release? That it came out on both labels?
Thanx

I've got the Lifelike EP on Music Man and I've seen
the Axis version in the record shop. The tracks are
exactly the same on both releases. The only difference
is the name of the tune Avenger which is called
Black Avenger on the Music Man version.
