On their third release the Vertical Form label tones things down a bit with
a beautiful melodic 2-tracker from Ampoule label artists Pub. The a-side
features the original 16 minute version of Summer in all it's downtempo
warmth and glory that was supposedly recorded live without the
help of any samplers or sequencers. Like Various Artists' No 8 track, this
is just one of those deep melodic electronic tracks that subdues you with
it's waves and waves of warmth and melody. On the flip side Vladislav
Delay gives his intrepretation of Summer which he entitles "They Can't See
Un In the Dark - Delay Configuration." Vlad's mix, which is over 18 minutes
in lenght, reconstructs the warm happy sounds of the original into a more
experimental and slightly more percussive dub track. An excellent record
from Vertical Form and easily their best release to date. Here is the info
on this release:

. Pub: summer pt 1 12" (Vertical Form 03)
      Tracks:
      - Summer/original mix
      - Summer/they can't see us in the dark - delay configuration

Vertical Form number four, which is still in production, will be
Summer, pt 2 and will feature two more reworks of Summer
this time by Arovane and Nick Rapaccioli. That should also be
excellent.

Vertical Form number five will be a new ep from Kit Clayton
called Lateral Forces.
