i take it your friend is looking to hear house music? if so MJQ on Saturday
nights is always a good bet. chez daimer's cousin kai alice is one of the
saturday residents and is known for bringing in people from detroit since he
is from there himself.

there is also a really good after hours party every 3rd saturday and i
sometimes help host a techno party. our last party was in september, we
brought in magda to play. you can view details and sign up to be notified
when we do another event here http://www.lifeformproject.com/construkt/.

also i'm starting my late night essentials label back up in january and plan
on doing some late night parties early in the year. the site goes live
first week of january and will announce parties if you want to pass the link
on to your friend http://www.latenightessentials.com/. we did a late night
party with jt donaldson a couple months back and had a blast.

i think the club chris did his brazillian night at is under renovation so it
hasn't been happening that i know of.

i hope this helps, if you need more info have your friend email me and i'll
do my best to hook him up...

Happy Holidays!
dK

I have a friend who is desperately trying to acclimate to the lack of club
life in Atlanta. If any kind souls would mind shooting some suggestions my
way, you'd make a Chicagoan's Xmas quite happy. :)

Does Chris Brann still do a weekly Brazillian thing?
