Some people think that not only do the forces of darkness have search 'bots
trawling the net for signs of artist names and track

I don't think that there are many underground dance labels that are
directly or indirectly affiliated with the RIAA. If you go to the
RIAA website they have a long list of labels under the heading
'Distributed Labels of Reporting Companies':

the RIAA etc fighting piracy, it seems to be limited to
major labels only.
regarding putting content online safely without incurring in
bots or spiders etc, one solution i have seen is to flash,
but an image will suffice.
