There is definately a Surveillance Recordings from Detroit. I have a record on the label by DFA called "Microstructural Characterization" from 2001. Don't know if this is the only release, but its damn fine deep house with a techno edge and I'm not surprised someone like Chris Gray would be playing it. I am surprised however that this hasn't been mentioned on here before. Better late than never I suppose...
