Similar to my last question, I'm looking for any feedback regarding a new
Thursday night in Windsor (1000-1500 capicity)
Here's the deal;
every Thursday w/ bi-weekly & monthly international undeground house, garage
& techno DJ's The weeks in between will showcase local talent.
This nightly venue is about deep, soulful music. Music that deserves a large
venue with TIGHT sound!
My name is Andrew Folkes (CKLN 88.1FM, Garage416 Toronto) ..... I'll be your
weekly resident so I'm looking very forward to banging out some deep tracks
for peeps across the river. The underground scene in Toronto is literally
explosive right now, however I am very excited about experiencing the
Detroit scene - it's gonna be MAD fun!
I have a strong belief that there's a very large underground community in
Detroit that would come to Windsor Thursday nights to check out good music
in a very nice club atmosphere. However, I'd really like to get some more
feedback on wether this is correct or not.
Also, any links to underground, deep, soulful local DJ's (+ promoters!)is
also appreciated. This night is as much about local talent as international
talent.
