Mad Mike keeps these perpetually in print. http://www.submerge.com has just about everything UR ever did, at something like $4-5 a piece. Can't miss with that. The UR SID stuff you might have to ask about and there are one or two UR 12"s that have been out of print for a long time (Fury and Piranha are the ones that come to mind). A lot of the UR releases can only be appreciated nostalgically or ideologically these days; some sound really painfully dated and some of them were never that good. However there are a couple that remain among the best Detroit 12"s of all time: the Sonic EP, Galaxy 2 Galaxy, Punisher, Message to the Majors, and some of their remixes. Also recommended while you're at Submerge would be the back catalogs of Red Planet and Basic Channel, the former defining modern trance (that sounds awful; don't blame the influencer for the influencees' behavior) and the latter being just about the greatest consistent label in techno outside of KDJ and Sound Signature. (The same is not true, by the way, of Chain Reaction, so those releases aren't really recommended.) Matt
