Would you consider someone sitting/standing onstage behind, say, a laptop
and hitting
Playing electronic music live is a misnomer as all/most of the sounds Carl
Craig uses are from samplers, drum machines, keyboards, and other sound
modules... a more appropriate question would be if he used a sequencer or
not.
I saw him play in NYC about a month ago with DJ Spooky and he

A few years ago when Aphex Twin played in Sydney, he layed on stage in
front of a thousand or so people and played Solitaire on his laptop!!

just thought i give a short review of carl craig's live performance at
paradiso last night.
IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WICKED!!!(...that's probably a bit too short.)
i got there at about half past twelve, and all out k was already playing
some nice deep tunes, and got funkier along the way,
