stockhausen is one of the originators of experimental electronic music. he started to experiment with tapeloops and pianoplayers in the 50s,,,some kind of cage,,if you want, but far more experimental. you really got to check his music and his compositions,,,theyre awesome! -Ursprüngliche

hi My former music teacher used to learn from him. Some of the stories are amazing. For example he told me how they used to have many tape loops stretched the length of a big hall and play them. The tape cutting techniques they used sound so tedious, using thousands of splices and joining them
