back to my original question: Do I need to manually add the
lastLoginTime attribute to all 460 users manually? Or are there any logs
that I can examine to see if it is being rejected some how?

Ahh, now I see it. It is in /usr/lib64/dirsrv/slapd-instance. Which
would you recommend to use in our situation? db2ldif or db2bak?

I had to do update-alternatives --java as root and it showed 1.6.0.
update-alternatives --jre didn't show anything. Changing it to the 1.4.2
entry then back had no effect.

Nope. We've been reading that, and it seems to be outdated. It references the application being stored and logged at /opt/fedora-ds, but the current installation doesn't reside there. Plus, the script seems to be a "smoke and mirrors" implementation, and we'd really like to understand what's going

to? I set it to a time value that would've been an hour ago since I got
an error setting it to 0.

I'm on CentOS 5.4 and my 389 version is 1.1.3 if I'm reading the console
log properly. The console log that got generated when I ran 389-console
-D 9 -f console.log is attached.
